...I always wonder why I never use to like ice creams ...unlike my frens from my school days to high school to college till now at my work place I knew every fren ( girls ) of mine will do everything for an ice cream..such craze over ice creams..I never understood..
Just few days ago Dhanya whose my close fren a colleague of mine stepped into our bay after a short break...with two dabbas of ice cream ..I still remember that 'oh my' that happy expression on her face seeing ..and admiring that dabba of cream of ice..he he ( still I didn't get to understand what feeling she had seeing those..) oh I thought it must be like how content and happy I use to be every time I prepare oo-morok metpa ( a manipuri side dish like that of a chutney prepared with chillies ..the hottest chilly as we understand ).. ya and there she handed over one dabba of ice cream to me and said 'eat.. '
With not much of an expression I digged in the scoop and was slowly trying to melt that Vanilla flavor cream ( actually m not sure which flavor it was ) in my mouth and ummmm I felt as though I am slowly starting to like him..I mean like that ice cream.. then goes a second helping of a scoop a third .. . a seventh... no words ..I never knew ice creams can be sooo good...I didn't comment anything about that to Dhanya ... there ended the story for that day..
The following day.. Dee ( my sweetheart ) and I went out for an evening stroll as it was my weekly off.. I asked nothing ..but only for a cone of ice cream ..(again vanilla)..I begged him.. It was a lil weird for him as I never did this before ..we got two cones...I didn't bother who watched me or how I looked like ( he was shocked to see me gulping ) down the whole cone of ice cream in half a minute.. ahhh it was really satisfying .. :) thx so much and love you dee for the ICE CREAM ..I love you too ..
